Single car crash occurred I-84 eastbound, east of exit 41 (South Main St) during a winter blizzard. There was between 2 and 3 feet of snow on the ground. Vehicle crashed at a high rate of speed (100 mph) and failed to negotiate a curve. It continued uphill through some woods until finally coming to stop by wrapping itself around a tree and pinning a severely injured driver. The vehicle had to be secured before entry could be gained for patient care. Patient ultimately died.
