PULITO, Alfred J. Alfred J. Pulito, 87, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Virginia (Fowler) Pulito, died Monday (January 18, 2010) at Kimberly Hall Nursing Home. Born Sept. 6, 1922 in Kensington, son of the late Daniel and Victoria (Zappone) Pulito, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 44 years. Prior to his retirement he was in sales in the floor covering business. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus in Enfield. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Janet and William Pauluh of Glastonbury, two sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Heather Pulito of Glastonbury, Richard and Cindy Pulito of Wayzata, MN, three grandchildren Kieth Pulito of Glastonbury, Michael Pulito and Kathryn Pulito both of NC, three step grandchildren Seth, Micah and Zachery Turman of MN, three brothers and their wives Frank Pulito of Berlin, Robert and Edith Pulito of Kensington, Daniel and Ann Pulito of Rocky Hill, a sister-in-law Dorothy Pulito of Southing-ton. He was predeceased by two brothers Anthony and James Pulito. The family would like to thank the staff at Kimberly Hall North for their care and compassion shown to Al during his stay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 279 New Britain Rd., Kensington, CT. 06037 or to a charity of the donors choice.
