She attended Oxford School, and graduated from Emma Williard in 1934. She was a member of Asylum Hill Congregational Church, the Hartford Golf Club, the Monday Reading Club, the Junior League of Hartford. She was a corporator of Hartford Hospital, where she was an active volunteer. She also volunteered with the Red Cross, and served as Class Secretary for Klngswood-Oxford School. 7, 1993, at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford after a long illness. He was fhe husband of Helen Green Ellison. He was born in Milford, Sept. 10, 1928, and lived In Clinton for the past 25 years. He was the son of the late Walter and Margaret Clark Ellison.

Mr. Ellison was a correctional officer for Conn. Department of Correction In Nlantic unltl his retirement In 1987. He was a World War II, U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Clinton, and the West-brook Elks Lodge No.

1784. Besides his wife, he Is survived by his children, Emily Marie Perry and Catherine Heser Lyndeburg, both of Rockport, Texas, Michael James, and Catherine Ellison of Port Republic, N. Deborah Blrk of Rockport, Texas, Sherry Patrice and John Michael Battista of Clinton, Andrea Karen Nepalltano of Clinton, Ann Nlelson and Scott Ailing of Old lyme, Andrew Roy and Cindy Ellison of Clinton, Joann Helmlch of Sacramento, Jennifer Moerman of Paso Robles, Constance Skay of Elcajon, and Roy Charles Ellison of Cambria, a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Adams of Southington; also 24 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Kyle Ellison; and two sisters, Margaret Stafford and Katherine Highland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the First Church of Christ, Congregational In Clinton.

Dumals, 71, wife of Lorenzo Dumals, of 3 Lorenzo Place, Bristol, died Saturday (August 7) after a long battle with cancer at the Rose Hawthorne House In Fall River, Mass.

She was born Januray 19, 1922 in Van Buren, Maine, the daughter of Alma (DeVeau) Farrell and the late Roy Farrell. A Bristol resident since 1940, she was employed at the Sessions Clock Co. for 21 years, and later at Stanley Works for 12 years, and the Forestville Pharmacy. A member of St. Matthew Church, she was active in the Bristol Senior Citizens, and was a volunteer for the Red Cross.

Besides her husband, and mother of Melbourne, she is survived by a son, Paul Dumals of New Britain; four daughters, Georgette Ingellis of Bristol, Dolores Gonzalez of Forestville, Lorraine Walsh of East Hartford, and Barbara Hu-beny of Southington; two brothers, Daniel Farrell and George Farrell, both in Florida; four sisters, Louise Hikel and Sadie Bel-liveau In Florida, Anita Mathieu of Fitchburg, and Julia Gerow of Alexandria, 17 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9 a.m., at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Forestville, and 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Church In Forestville. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.

Jane (MacNeil) Dwyer, 64, of 155 Mass. Longmeadow, died Saturday (Aug. 7.) She was the beloved wife of Edward F. Dwyer; mother of Edward F. Dwyer, Jr.

of New York City, N.Y., and Mary Dwyer Fallon of Plymouth; sister of Nancy Single of Barrington, R.I., Phyllis Whorls-key of Acton, and Margaret Nicholson of Niagara Falls, Canada; grandmother of Anna Jane Fallon and Jackson Jeffrey Fallon of Plymouth, and John Dwyer of New York City, N.Y. Funeral Tuesday, 10 a.m., from Hafey East Longmeadow Chapels, 120 Shaker Road, followed by a Mass in St. Mary's Church, at 11 a.m. Burial in Lawnmeadow Cemetery. HARRINGTON. Anna S. Harrington, 66, of 31 Woodland Hartford, died Saturday (Aug. 7) at home. She was born In Americus, and had lived In Hartford the last 38 years.

She was a founding member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church where she actively served in its auxiliaries. She was a retired employee of the State of Conn after 33 years of service, 19 with the UCONN School of Law. Ms. Harrington was a former president of the Hartford Beta Chapter of IOTA Phi Lambda Sorority, former president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Tunxls Post 992, former President of the Hartford Chapter of the National Council of Negro Women, a life member of the NCNW, and was presented with its Mary McLeod Bethune Award in recognition of achievements In the Bethune Tradition, a member of the Urban League Guild of Greater Hartford, Greater Hartford Black Democratic Club, Conn. Friendship Club, Conn.

Caucus of Black Women for Political Action (CCBWPA), CSEA, Cousin's Club of Springfield, and Greater Hartford NAACP. Ms. Harrington graduated from the University of Hartford in 1977 with her middle son, Anthony. She was the widow of Samuel C. Harrington.

She is survived by three sons, Kim Harrington, Jerome Brown, and Anthony Harrington and his wife, Janice Harrington; three sisters, Irabellee Childsof Los Angeles, Ruby Taylor and Janie Palmer; two brothers, Sammie Smith and William D. Smith, all of Springfield, a devoted friend, Mrs. Ros-sie Hills; her mother-in-law, Sarah Harrington, Hartford; seven grandchildren, Michael Brown, Jerena Felton, Tacoya Stathum, Kameron Harrington, Chassidy Harrington and Anthony C. Harrington II; three great-grandchildren, Michael Jasmine and Jade Brown. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Aug.

She was the widow of Jerry J. Sliksbier. Born In Jamaica, N.Y., she was a Newington resident for the past 34 years. She was member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. Mrs.

Sliksbier was formerly active In the CCD Program at St. Mary and Holy Spirit Churches. She was formerly active in the P.T.A. and Child Study at the Ruth Chaffee School, Newington. Survivors Include a son, Gregg J.

Sliksbier of Newington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorene A. Sliksbier and Lou Deschamps of Beaufort, S.C., and Cindy A. Sliksbier of Middletown; a granddaughter, Al-lysa Kelly Sliksbier. She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Deschamps. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonalr with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at the Church of the Holy Spirit.

Burial will be In Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 670 Prospect Hartford 06105. SMITH. Gwendolyn Miles Smith, 85, of West Hartford, widow of Allan K.

Smith, died Saturday (August 7) after a short illness. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she was educated at Columbus School for Girls, and graduated in 1929 from Mount Hoi-yoke College. She earned a Master's degree in religious education from Teacher's College, Columbia University, and worked for 10 years as a Director of Religious Education in Episcopal Church parishes in Providence, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Her marriage In 1939 to Allan Kellogg Smith was a long and happy one, ending with her husband's death In 1985. She was an active volunteer all her life.

She served as wartime president of the Hartford YWCA, president of the Women's Board of the Hartford Seminary Foundation, president of the Town and Country Club, trustee of the Hartford College for Women, an Overseer of the Bushnell Memorial and vestry" member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Hartford. She was an active Mount Hoi-yoke alumna, served as chairman and generous supporter of numerous college fundraising campaigns, and was president of the Class of 1929. In recent years, she gave the naming gift for the Gwendolyn Miles Smith Science Library at the college. She was a loyal supporter of her husband's lifelong devotion to his alma mater, Trinity College, Hartford, and established Smith House, the college alumni center, in his honor. Together, the Smiths founded several professorships at both their colleges.

In 1990, Trinity College awarded her with the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane She was a member of the Thursday Morning Club, the Town and Country Club, the Hartford Golf Club, the Hartford Club, and Trinity Church. For several years, she was a book reviewer for the Hartford Courant. She Is survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Miles In Florida; and her cousins, Helen Buell Hart and Gwendolyn and Elizabeth Brlstow, all of West Hartford, Katherine H. Hansen of San Francisco, and Jacob Allan Brlstow of Helena, Mont. A memo-; rial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 12, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 Slgoumey Street, Hartford.

The Rev. William J. Eaklns, Rector, and the Rt. Rev. Arthur Walmsley, Bishop of Connecticut, will officiate.

John Tomasko, 86, of Jackson Street, Williamantic, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1993, at the Windham Hospital. He was born May 2, 1907 in Storrs, the son of the late John and Nancy (Denzel) Tomasko, and lived In Willimantlc most of his life. He was a member of the Arrington Masonic Lodge In Lynn, and was known as an avid gardener. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for several years by Electro-Motive In Willimantlc.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Moleti) Tomasko; a daughter, Leslie Sherlock of Los Angeles, a grandson, Gavin John Sherlock; also of Los Angeles, three sisters, Helen La-zur and Frances Hodges, both in Ohio, and Ruth Washam of East Hartford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 11, 11 a.m., at the First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Willimantlc. The Rev. Edmund Melncke will officiate.

Burial will follow In New Willimantlc Cemetery. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson (Route 195) Willimantlc. He was born In Bristol, and lived in Hartford for most of his life. Sebastian retired after 35 years service from the Conn. General Life Insurance and was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion, and was also a member of the 1st. Company Gov- ernor's Footguard.

He was Instructor and member of the National Rifle Association. Sebastian was a messenger for the State Legislature, and was also a lustice of fhe peace in West Hartford. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War and more recently, was a realtor in the Hartford area. He is survived by his former wife, Josephine (Giglluto) Cassarino; his daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and Joseph Palowski; his son, Santo Cassarino; his brother, James Cassarino; and two grandsons, all of Wethersfield.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 8 a.m., at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, 9 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Enid (Laffle) Cavanaugh, 74, of Captain Dean Road, East Orleans, formerly of West Hartford, beloved wife of Kenneth A.

Cavanaugh, died Saturday (Aug. 7) at Hospice House, Barnstable, Mass. Born in New Britain, she had resided In West Hartford most of her life. Mrs. Cavanaugh was a former communicant of the Church of St.

Brigid, West Hartford. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael A. Cavanaugh In Arizona, Christopher J. Cavanaugh of Will-ington; a daughter, Mary Carlson of West Hartford; and four grandchildren, Karen Higglns of Haddam, Erin Cavanaugh in Arizona, Morgan and Blake Carlson, both of West Hartford. A Funeral Procession will be Tuesday, 8:15 a.m., from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9 a.m., in the Church of St.

6-A, Yarmouthport, Mass. 02673. CHAMBERS. C. Vernon Chambers of West Hartford, beloved husband of Anne Brooks) Chambers, died Saturday, Aug.

7, 1993, at Hartford Hospital. Mr. Chambers was a Veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S.F.A. While on loan to the Rand Corporation during World War II, he worked on Fhe development of special T.V. receivingsending equipment to control flight of high explosive aircraft bombs.

He was a nam radio operator for many years, W1JEQ, employed at the American Radio Relay League for 28 years as a laboratorian, and helped develop short wave communication equipment. He was the author of articles on low-power rigs, and was a technical writer for QST Magazine. In 1958, he became a realtor for West Hartford and surrounding areas. He served on the Town of West Hartford Board of Assessors, and the Town Civil Defense. For the past 8 years, he was a Fee Appraiser for the Veterans Administration.

He was a member of the First Company Governor's Foot Guard, the American Legion Post 96, West Hartford, and the Hartford Board of Realtors. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan Wendy Chambers of New Britain, Malcolm and Karen (Chambers) Sterling of Boston, David and Gall Bond in England; two grandsons, Christopher Sterling, Charles Henry Bond; a sister, Margorie Hunt in Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Molloy Funeral Home, West Hartford, has charge of arrangements. 02146. KULAS. Karen (Foglla) Kulas, 34, wife of Charles A. Kulas, died Saturday (Aug. 7) at St.

Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Hartford, she had lived in East Hartford most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Rose Church in East Hartford. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Raymond C.

Kulas; a daughter, Crystal G. Kulas; her parents, Leo F. and Gladys (Rich) Foglla; a brother, David M. Foglia; and a sister, Miss Anne L. Foglia, all of East Hartford.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 9 a.m., at St. Rose Church, 33 Church East Hartford, with a Mass of Christian burial. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church Tuesday morning. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Rocky Hill, today, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

Sylvia (Hurwitz) August, wife of Jerry August, died August 7, at a local convalescent home. Besides her husband, she Is survived by a son, David August of Bristol; a daughter, Joan Jacob-son of Wethersfield; two brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. BALBONI. Elizabeth Balboni, 93, of Whiton Street, Windsor Locks, died Saturday, August 7, 1993, at an area convalescent home.

She was born in Windsor Locks, daughter of the late Peter and Ida (Timo) Balboni, and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Mary Church. She is survived by three sisters, Lena Balboni, with whom she made her home, Lucy Roverettl of Glastonbury, Laura Lodola of Windsor Locks; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Dorothy Balboni of Windsor Locks; several nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Elsie Lodola, Mary Mobiglla, Katherine Tassinari; and her brothers, Frederick and Raymond Balboni.

Funeral will be Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from the Kania Funeral Home, 105 Oak Windsor Locks, with a Mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m., In St. Mary Church. Burial will be In St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, 4-8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the American School for the Deaf, 139 North Main West Hartford 06107. BOLDUC. Joseph R. Bolduc, 66, died August 6, 1993, at a Caribou hospital. He was born In St.

Victor, Quebec, Canada, Sept. 29, 1926, the son of Alfred and Marie (Grondin) Bolduc. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and a member of the Amrlcan Legion Levasseur-Farrell Post No. 49.

He was also a member of the Third Degree Knights of Columbus CouncMNo. 1635 of Van Buren, and a was a former member of the Van Buren Lions Club. Mr. Bolduc was the owner and operator of American Drywail, a constuctlon company In West Hartford, for a number of years, and also owned and managed several apartment building In Connecticut. In 1967, he relocated to Van Buren where he purchased the former Webber House, and established the Borderview Nursing Home.

From an eight bed facility at the outset, he and his wife, Mary, expanded the nursing home to a 122 bed facility which they sold in Decmeber 1981. In the early 1970s, he built Forest Hill Manor, a Fort Kent Nursing home he coowned and operated until 1977. During the same time, he constructed a number of apartment buildings in the Fort Kent and Eagle Lake area. He was the owner and for a time, operated, the Colonial Motor Inn in Van Buren. Mr.

Bolduc develoed and owned several real estate properties in southern Florida, Quebec, Bangor, Van Buren, Fort Kent, and Eagle Lake. In 1973, he and his wife, were selected and honored as the Maine Small Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year. He was the benefactor of a 13 acre property to the Town of Van Buren which he donated to establish a muncipal cemetery. The property was developed and became the Grande Riviere Cemetery in 1991. He Is survived by three sons and their wives, Darryl and Rebecca Bolduc and Jay and Sharon Bolduc, all of Fort Lauderdale, Mark and Susan Bolduc of Pompa-no Beach, a daughter and her husband, Cynthia and Gregory Doucette of Van Buren; two broth- ers, George Bolduc of Hartford, 1 and Louis Phlllippe Bolduc of St.

i Victor, Quebec; three sisters, Edith Busque of Farmington, Mrs. Gerard (Jacqueline) Gendreau and Mrs. Donat (Francolse) Du- mont, both of West Hartford; 10 grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his close and very special friend, Rena Ouellette of Van Buren. He 1 was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Cyr) Bolduc In 1987, and by a son, Brian Joseph Bolduc in 1954.

Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High Van Buren, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., on Monday, and 10 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burl-' al will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church.

Committal Services and Interment will be at the family lot of the Grande Riviere Cemetery. McKENNA. William H. McKenna of West Hartford, died Saturday (Aug. 7) In Arlington, Mass.

She was born in Hartford, and had lived in Hartford and East Hartford before moving to Glastonbury. Prior to her retirement In 1986, she was employed for 32 years as Supervisor of License and Revenue Unit of the Department of Environmental Protection of the State of Conn. She was a member of the East Hartford Senior Citizens, the AARP, and a member of the Italian-American Ladies Club of East Hartford. She leaves three sons and two daughters-in-law, Frank and Loretta Bramantl of Vernon, Joseph S. Bramantl, Jr.

of Glastonbury, James and Lisa Bramantl of Hebron; a daughter, Celeste Cio-chinl of Colchester; six sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Sapere of East Hartford, Mary Pinone, Adeline DeNino, both in Florida, Al-yce Ruff, Wethersfield, Emily Bruyette, East Hartford, Ann and Fred Tongren, Glastonbury; five granddaughters, Lucy and Leanne Bramantl, Lynette and Corlnne Clochlni, and Amanda Lynn Bramantl; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Calvo; and a brother, Vincent Carabillo. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m., at the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main East Hartford. Burial will be In St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford.

Calling hours will be Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. COUGHLIN. John T. "Jack" "Corky" Coughlln of Glastonbury, husband of Stella (Taylor) Coughlln, died Sunday (Aug. 8) at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Jack was born In Hartford, April 20, 1932, and attended Hartford Public Schools. He lived several years In Windsor before moving to Glastonbury in 1973. He was a member of the Armed Forces, serving in the U.S. AirForce in the Korean Conflict as an airplane mechanic. Jack worked for the City of Hartford for 42 years mostly in the Department of Parks and Recreation as a heavy equipment operator.

For many years, residents of Hartford had Jack to thank for his part In plowing all night after heavy snow storms, and for the beauty of cut lawns in city parks. He retired in 1992. He was a active member of the Irish-American Home in Glastonbury for many years. He volunteered for the past 15 years with the Cedars of Lebanon Manchester Thanksgiving Day Road Race, and was honored in 1992 for his dedication, contribution, and service. Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted sister, Marilyn C.

Romano and brother-in-law, Joseph J. Romano, both of Rocky Hill; three stepchildren and their families, Sandra Procassini and her husband, Donald; and their three children, Jeannette, Donald Jr. and Greg of Glastonbury, Dennis Taylor; his wife, Pat, and their daughter, Heather Taylor of Har-winfon, James Taylor and his wife, Pam and their three children, Matthew, Christopher, and Rebecca of Owings, three nephews, Atty. Michael Romano and his wife, Joanne and their children, Nikkl, Jay, and John Romano of Rocky Hill, and Marc J. Romano of Hartford; as well as many beloved family members and friends.

Funeral will be held Wednesday from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Glastonbury, at a time to be announced. Burial will be In Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. DIGREGORIO. Serafina "Fannie" (D'Amato) DIGregorlo, 84, of 20 Cummings Wethersfield, wife of the late Pasquale DIGregorlo, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1993, at Hartford Hospital. Born in Po-poll, Province of Pescara, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Boniface and Ida (Marino) D'Amato. She lived in Hartford for 40 years, moving to Wethersfield In 1956.

She retired from Conn. Printers, Inc. In 1971. She was a member of the Popolese Society, and a communicant of Corpus Christ! Church, Wethersfield. She is survived by two sons, ichard J.

DIGregorlo of Manchester, and Robert J. DIGregorlo of Wethersfield, with whom she made her home; a sister, Viola Cotoia; and two brothers, Al D'Amato and Frank D'Amato, all of Rocky Hill; two grandchildren, Michelle DIGregorlo and Melissa Pachesa, both of Manchester; and a greatgrandchild; several nieces and nephews. Wife of loving husband, Raymond Miller. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived for 20 years in North Massapequa, N.Y., where she raised loving children, Karyn Taldadege of Hartford, and Wayne Talmadge of Winnemucca, Nev. Subsequently, she moved to Waterbury and later to West Hartford, where she served as office manager for Dr. James Brodey at Pain Management and Behavorial Medicine Center. An avid animal lover and active participant in community theatre, she appeared in productions of Waterbury Civic Theatre and the Mark Twain Masquers of West Hartford.

Survivors include stepson, Dr. Kevin Miller; daughter-in-law. Dr. Maria Mondscheln; granddaughter, Rachel Miller; stepson, Dr. Bruce Miller; nephew, Warren Schwartz; niece, Debra Sosln; grandnephews, Mathew Schwartz; nephew, Lawrence Schwartz; niece, Eileen Schwartz; grand-nephews, Adam and David Schwartz.

Born In the Thompsonvllle section of Enfield, she lived there for many years before moving to Somersvllle in 1947. She was a retired weaver for many years at the former Bigelow-Sanford Carpet retiring in 1947. She was a communicant of All Saints Church. Her husband, George P. Orson, died In 1972.

She leaves four daughters, Constance A. Songailo of West Stafford, Georgette O. Davis of Rosemarie L. Roy of South Windsor, Carmenmarle A. Orson of Enfield; three brothers, Angelo Vella of Westf ield, Vincent Vella of East Hartford, Rosario Vella of Enfield; three sisters, Lena Burkott of Chlcopee Falls, Marie Calllnl of Westfield, Josephine Trippodo of Enfield; three grandchildren, Jennifer L.

Roy of South Windsor, Glenn A. and Jamie M. Davis, both of Somers; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Goyette and Constance Young, both of Somers. She was predeceased by a son in 1949; and two brothers, Joseph and Paul Vella. Phllomena (Staino) Puzzo, of Glastonbury, died Saturday (Aug. 7) at her home. She leaves behind her loving husband, Joseph J. Puzzo, Sr. of Glastonbury; her five sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph J.

Jr. and Sandra Puzzo of Toronto, Canada, Lawrence S. and Margaret Puzzo, Robert M. and Susan Puzzo of East Hampton, Francis D. and Lowana Puzzo of Tolland, Peter N.

of Glastonbury; 11 beautiful grandchildren; and several cousins. She was born July 7, 1924, and was raised In Torrington. Phil called Glastonbury her home for many years. It was here that she dedicated her life to her family and to the Catholic church. Besides raising five boys, Phil found the time to be the organist and choir director at St.

Paul Church in Glastonbury for 40 years. She was also president of the League of the Sacred Heart of St. Paul Church, and worked at Citizens Bank, Glastonbury. Being an accomplished pianist, Mrs. Puzzo was a member of the staff and an accompanist at the Hartt School of Music during the 1940s.

Phil was recently the Choral Director and Accompanist for the Choral Club of Glastonbury. With her love of music, she was able to share this talent with many young minds by teaching the piano, always listening and helping when she could. Her gifts surely will be missed. KING. John Bicey King, 68, of 798-A Heritage Village, Southbury, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1993, at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joan (Harder) King. Mr.

King was born March 13, 1925 in New Haven, son of the late John Bicey, Sr. and Mary (Burke) King. He graduated from Yale University in 1948 with a B.A. Degree In Economics, and was the retired president of John Bicey King Advertising Co. in Hartford.

Prior to moving to Heritage Village in 1989, he lived in Greenwich. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Heritage Village Republican Club and a member of the Heritage Village Country Club 18 Hole Men's Association. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Southbury. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, John Bicey King III and Andrew King, both of Farmington; and a brother, Robert E. King of Branford; three grandchildren; three nephews; and two nieces. Arrangements: Funeral Mass Tuesday, Aug. 10, 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, Main Street South, Southbury. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Southbury.

KINKADE. Shirley (Laramy) Klnkade, 69, of 6 Mountain Laurel Road, New Milford, widow of Edwin L. Kinkade, died Saturday (Aug. 7) at her home. She was the mother of Stephen A.

Klnkade; and daughter-in-law, Diane Kinkade, both of Thomaston; also a sister of Gregory Laramy; and two grandchildren, David J. Kinkade and Lauren J. Kinkade. She had been a retired school librarian in New Milford after 26 years of service. Memorial services Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the First Congregational Church of Washington, Conn.
