Born In Florida, Puerto Rico, he was a resident of Hartford prior to moving to Manchester five years ago. Surviving are his wife, Blanca Colon of Manchester; six sons, Jaime of Springfield, Aurello Edwin, both of Hartford, Juan of Bayamon, P.R., Jose Antonio and Ivan of Manchester; seven daughters, Neraida, Ester, Maria, and Carmen, all of Hartford, Margarita of Ciales, P.R., Julia of Springfield, and Gloria of Manchester; 66 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. O'BRIEN. Dorothy (Welch) O'Brien, of Hartford, widow of Joseph C. O'Brien, died Sunday (June 20). She was born In Hartford, daughter of the late James and Catherine (Farrell) Welch, and wasa lifelong resident. She leaves three sons, James E.

O'Brien of Manchester, Robert J. O'Brien, and Joseph O'Brien, both of East Hartford; two daughters, Catherine Katzbek of South Windsor, and Patricia Fedora of Tolland; and sev-. en grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday, 8:30 a.m., from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 96 Webster Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9a.m., in St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton Hartford.

Marory Grace (Steinmetz) Hutchinson, 68, of Hill Road, East Granby, iwife of the late Thomas P. Hutchinson and Francis MacDonald, died Sunday, June 20, 1993, at her home In East She was born June 24, 1924 In Port Chester, N.Y., daughter of the late Elmer K. Steinmetz and Christine (Peterson) Steinmetz of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., and had lived on Long Island and in Slmsbury prior to moving to East Granby rive years ago. She attended Oberlin College In Ober-lln, Ohio, received her Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., and received Master's degrees from the State University of New York at New Paltz and C.W.

Post College in West-bury, N.Y. She was a school teacher in New York In the towns of Spring Valley, Levlttown, and Port Jefferson Station for over 20 years prior to her retirement in 1969. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jill Ann and William Hudock of Simsbury; three Grandchildren, Jameson Paul, efferson Thomas, and Jessica Ann Hudock, also of Slmsbury; a son, John K. Mahony of Glendale, her mother, Christine P. Steinmetz of Mt.

Kisco, N.Y.; a sister, Sally Ann Steinmetz of New Canaan; a sister-in-law, Elaine and her husband, Ernest Rossi of Granby; and three stepdaughters, Susan Jean MacDonald, Barbara Ann MacDonald, and Mary Ellen Shamett. Private funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Marlorie E. Joyce, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Hartford, died Tuesday (Jue 22, 1993) at St. Petersburg (Fla.) General Hospital. She was born Feb.

12, 1931, daughter of M. Evelyn (Little) Joyce of Hartford, and the late Wlllard G. Joyce. She lived in the Hartford area for most of her life, moving to Florida in 1984 following her retirement from CIGNA. Besides her mother, she leaves her sister and brother-in-law, Lois J.

and Frederick C. Schneider of Newington; two aunts, Olive L. Little, and Marlorie L. Rourke, both of Hartford; an uncle, Frank G. Little of Manchester; her nephew, John F.

Schneider of Snellville, her nieces, Jane S. Bradford of Vienna, and Dr. Anne S. McNulty of Cheshire; four grandnephews; and a grandniece. A memorial service will be at a later date.

Donations may be made to the Book of Remembrance, Immanuel Congregational Church, 10 Woodland 06105. KENNEDY. Harold F. Kennedy, 73, of Vernon, died Monday (June 21) at the Enfield Nursing Center. He was the beloved husband of M.

Dorothy (Mclntyre) Kennedy. Born in Waterbury, the son of the late Frank and Anna (Horan) Kennedy, he graduated from Wllby High School, Waterbury, Class of 1938. He served with the 106th Infantry Regiment In the South Pacific during World War II, and was discharged with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He then received his Bachelor's degree from Bentley College, Class of 1949, and later attended Northeastern University. Mr.

Kennedy worked as a field supervisor and marketing manager for St. Paul Insurance Co. retiring In 1984. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves four chllden, Reta A. Kennedy and Mary D. Kenne-- dy, both of Vernon, Harold F. Kennedy, Jr. of Wolcott, and James J.

Kennedy of Jacksonville, two brothers, James Kennedy and Francis Kennedy; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Buddy Ferro, all of Waterbury; two aunts; and several cousins; nieces; nephews; grandnleces; and grand-nephews. He was born In Hartford, July 11, 1978, to Crystal McBrlde of Hartford, and Gary Mounds of West Hartford, and lived In Hartford for all of his life. He was a student of Hartford-Windsor public schools. Besides his parents, he Is survived by two brothers, Aaron Mounds III of Hartford, and Matthew Mounds of West Hartford; two sisters, Rato-sha McBrlde of Hartford, and Syr-Ita McBrlde of Windsor; his maternal grandmother, Charlotte McBrlde; and maternal great- Srandmother, Bertha McBrlde, oth of Windsor; paternal grandfather, Aaron Mounds Sr. of Hartford; a nephew, Jason D. Irving L. Nelson, 68, of 35 Spring Glastonbury, husband of Dorothy (Case) Nelson, died Saturday, June 19, 1993, In Wlnterhaven, Fla. Born In Hartford, he has lived in Glastonbury all of his life. He was the son of Irving L. and Doris (McKinstry) Nelson.

Prior to his retirement In 1987, he was a fire department lieutenant for Pratt Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for 33 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in World War II, and a member of the V.F.W. Post of Glastonbury. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Irving L.

Nelson III of Marlborouah; two Princeton Street, Manchester, husband of Do-menlca "Lee" (Sartor) Willis, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born July 14, 1912 in Annapolis, Nova Scotia, and had been a resident of Manchester most of his life. Mr. Willis was a Veteran of World WAr II serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He was owner and operator of the Don Willis Garage, Inc. for many years. He was a member of Center Congregational Church, a member of the Manchester Elks, American Legion Post No. 102, the Coast Gaurd Auxiliary, the Past President of the Independent Garage Owners Association, and a volunteer fireman for the 8th District Fire Department.1 Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Diane Willis, John and Carol Willis, all of Manchester; a daughter and son-in-law, Gall and Charles Zanlungo of Manchester; a sister, Dorothy Krah of Bend, seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m., at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Manchester.

June 23, 1932 Feb. 19, 1992 ROY. Aime William Roy, 77, of tagewater, formerly of Woody Brook Road, Windsor, beloved husband of Virainla Rov, died Wednesday (June 9) at his home in Florida. Born in Manchester, N.H., he had lived in Windsor for 43 years, moving to Florida where he had wintered for the past nine years. Before retiring In 1978, he was employed for 17 years as a master mechanic for O.

G. Construction Co. of Torrlng-ton. He served In the U.S. Navy during World War II and the U.S.

Army during the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church, Windsor, a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local No. 478, the Bishop McAul-llffe Council 3181 of Windsor, and the New Smyrna Beach Lodge of Elks No. 1557 B.P.O.E.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, David Roy of Manchester; three daughters, Sandra Alvarez in California, Judith Romankiw of Plantsville, and Patricia Siegel of Southlngton; a brother, Roland Roy in California; four sisters, Marcelline Riley in Maine, Rita Mlynarski of Newington, Theresa McAdoo of Kensington, and Lorraine Butler of East Hartford; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, 11:30 a.m., at St. Gabriel's Church, Windsor. Burial will be in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

She had previously lived in Windsor. Sieg, 73, of Stuart, beloved husband of Madeline (Mcintosh) Sieg, died Thursday (June 17) at Martin Me morial Hospital South, Port Salerno, Fla. He was born in Meriden, son of the late Albert and Frances (Malotke) Sieg, and had lived In Windsor for 17 years, and had been a resident of Stuart, for two months. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Combustion Engineering, Windsor Locks, as a Senior Design Draftsman.

Besides his wife, he Is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Beth Ann and Ronald Be-langer of Andover; a son, David Sieg Jr. of Hartford; a brother, Edward Sieg of Meriden; and three grandchildren, Kirsten, and Amy Belanger, and Ryan Sieg. Nicola Tiberlo, 72, of Wethersfield, husband of Natalie (Vlncenzo) Tiberlo, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Sepino, Province of Campobasso, Italy, he lived In Wethersfield since 1959. He was the owner of Church Street Auto Body, Hartford, for 35 years. During world War II, he served for eight years in the Italian Army, and was a prisoner of war for three years. Besides his wife, he Is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, M.

Steven and Nancy Tiberio of Wethersfield, and John N. Tiberio of Portland; a brother, Sebastlano Tiberlo of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Lucia Petrillo, and Carmela D'Anello, both of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and four grandchildren, Lauren Tiberlo, Nicholas Tiberlo, Brett Tiberlo, and Alexander Tiberio. The funeral Is Thursday, 9 a.m., from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m.. In Corpus Chrlstl Church, Wethersfield. Wasilleff, 77, of Alexander streer, Manchester, husband of Mar-garete (Turek) Wasilleff, died Monday (June 21, 1993) at his home. He was born June 28, 1915, In New York City, and had been a resident of Manchester since the 1940s.

Mr. Wasilleff was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a Guidance Counsellor at Glastonbury High School until his retirement In 1977. He was High School Baseball, Track, and Swimming Teams Coach, Yearbook and Class Advisor, and English Teacher.

He was the Director of the Hartford Symphony Chorale for 20 years, and was a member of the Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale for over 20 years. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Ivan Wasilleff; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen D. and David Almond of Manchester; and three grandchildren, Timothy M. Almond, Heather B.

Almond, and Rebekka K. Almond, all of Manchester. There will be a memorial service at the Concordia Lutheran Church, Thursday, 5 p.m. There are no calling hours. She was the wife of Patrick DIFronzo. She was born in Limosano, Compo Basso, Italy, Nov. 20, 1913, daughter of the late Angelo and Antonette Marcantonlo.

She was former owner of Rose Bud Restaurant, Plainville, for over 35 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Fred Marcantonlo of Plainville; and four daughters, Mrs. Annette Schmidt of Sarasota, Mrs. Jane Teffs of Plainville, Mrs.

Nancy Smart of Conyers, and Mrs. Rosalie Ellas of Plainville; two brothers, Armano Marc Anthony, and Gene Marc Anthony, both of Stuart, a sister, Jessie lammonlco of Hartford; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, 8 a.m., at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad Plainville, followed by a Mass, 9 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.

Calling hours will be Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. FARLEY. Harry C. Farley, 90, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 67 years to Hazel (Cronkhite) Farley, died Sunday (June 20, 1993) at a local convalescent hospital. He was born in Bridgewater, Maine, son of the late James H.

and Annie (Barker) Farley, and had lived in the Hartford area since 1941. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Farley worked for Gustave Fischer, for 27 years. He was a graduate of Gray's Business College, Portland, Maine, a 40 year member of Aroostlck Lodge No. 197 Mars Hill, Maine, a member of Broadview Community Church UCC, and a member of Southwest Senior Citizens.

Besides his wife, he Is survived by a son, Robert C. Farley of West Hartford; two grandchildren, Richard Farley of East Hartford, and David Farley and his wife, Nancy, of Marlborough; and two nieces, Sally Heavi-sldes, and Brenda Scotto. He was Predeceased by two sons, Lloyd A. arley, and Maynard S. Farley; and three brothers.

Grace (Thomas) Fyler, 92, of Babson Park, wife of the late Wadsworth Gray Fyler, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at the home of her son In West Slmsbury.

She was born August 20, 1900 in Syracuse, N.Y., daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (Hill) Thomas, and had lived In West Slmsbury for 13 years prior to moving to Babson Park, Fla. 42 years ago. She was employed as a kindergarten teacher in Farmington for several years. Mrs. Fyler was a member of the Slmsbury Grange for over 50 years, the Babson Park Audubon Society, and the Babson Park Garden Club.

She Is survived by three sons, Wadsworth T. Fyler of West Slmsbury, Walter A. Fyler of Houston, Texas, and Charles A. Fyler of Denver, two daughters, Ruth Langford of South Windsor, and Grace Farnsworth of Guilford; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Simsbury, with the Rev.

Bransfleld, 70, of 516 Main Portland, hus- band of Mary (Flynn) Bransfleld, died Tuesday (June 22) at Hart-. ford Hospital. Born In Middletown on October 12, 1922, son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Campion) Bransfield, he had lived for most of his life in Portland. He attended Portland High School, Suf field Academy, and graduated from the University of Conn. He and operated the John W.

Bransfield Insurance Agency on Main Street, Portland from 1972 to 1991. He was a World War II U.S. ArmyAIr Corps Technical Sargent he was awarded Five Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Ribbon, Air Medal, and EAMT Ribbon. He was a lifelong member of the Church of St. Mary, Portland, and had served on the parish council in the 1970s when the committee was rebuilding the original church.

He also had an active part In its fund drives. Mr. Bransfleld attended Mass daily at St. Mary's 1 Chapel. He was a member of the American Legion Ormont Post No.

69, Portland, and a Commls-1 sloner of American Legion Baseball, Zone Three, and had served on the committee when Middle-town hosted the national playoffs. George Basiel, a member of the American Legion, praised Mr. Bransfleld for all his dedication 1 and hard work as Chairman of the Baseball League. He was past President and current Treasurer of Portland Little League, Intermediate League. In 1973, Mr.

1 Bransfield was instrumental in getting the golf course to locate In Portland. He was presently serving as member and Chairman of the Portland Economic Development Commission, was a member of the Industrial Development Commission, and also served as Its Chairman, a member of the Conn. Association of Municipal Development and Economic mission, also the Middlesex Coun- ty Development Council, had been member and past Chairman of the Portland Democratic Town Committee, and was presently serving as Chairman of Its Nominating Committee. He had worked on many campaign committees for the election of state and local rep-, resentatives. He served as a dele- gate to the Democratic State Convention for the past several years.

Mr. Bransfleld had also manned the Democratic Headquarters on election day In recent years. He was also a member of the Hlbernl- ans and was had been active with the United Fund over 20 years. He was a past President as well as a past fund drive chairman. He frequently chaired the Industrial Division as well as the Budget Com- mlttee.

Besides his wife, he Is survived by four sons, Jack P. Bransfleld of Boston, Ml- chael W. Bransfield of Jersey City, N.J., Thomas J. Bransfleld of Portland, and Peter J. Bransfleld of Glastonbury; two daughters, Maura B.

Dillon of Portland, and Ellen B. Kelley of Portland; two brothers, Joseph P. Bransfleld, Jr. of Middletown, and Peter C. Bransfleld of Glastonbury; a sister, Marie B.

Gole of Meudon, France; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Hartford, graduated from Berlin High School, and had lived In Bloom-field most of his adult life.

He was a member of Bethel AME Church where he served on the Stewart Board, the Men's Club, Men's Chorus, and as a church school teacher. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a retired employee of Pratt Whitney, East Hartford, and Aetna Life Insurance Co. He is survived by a brother, Frederick Tlnsley and wife, Daphne Tlnsley In California; several nieces and nephews, Including Frederick Tania, and Karen in California; other relatives and friends. CHEVERIER. Adelord "Al" Chever ier, 73, of 480 Kennedy Road, Windsor, beloved husband of Rita (Cote) Cheverier, died Tuesday (June 22) at Veterans Administration Hospital, Newington. Born In Island Pond, he had lived In Hartford moving to Windsor 48 years ago. Before retiring In 1982, he was an autobody mechanic and operated Al's Autobody in Windsor for many years. He served in the U.S.

Marine Corps during World War II In the Pacific Theater. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church, Windsor, was a former member of the Windsor Police Auxiliary River Patrol, a member of the Raymond B. Mc-Hugh Post 4740 VFW, the Windsor Rod and Gun Club, and an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoors-man. Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Helen Cheverier Myslywlcz of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews.

FRANZEN. Joseph Arvld Franzen, 98, of Rocky Hill, husband of the late Laura (Person) Franzen, died Tuesday (June 22, 1993) at home after a brief illness. Born In Tida-holm, Sweden, he was a longtime resident of the Hartford area. He was retired from the Arrow Hart Hegeman where he was employed for many years. He was a member of the former Bethel Baptist Church, Hartford, and a member of the First Church of Christ, Wethersfield.

He was predeceased by his wife, Laura, in 1976, and a daughter, Doris Franzen Gustaf-son, in 1958. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret L. Johnson of Wethersfield; Tils two sons and daughters-in-law. Warren and Ruth Franzen of Wetherfield, and Richard and Judith Franzen of Rocky Hill; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
