Frances (Bailer) Gassner, 84, of 1248 Farmlngton West Hartford, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 1995) at home. Born In Hartford, she lived in the Hartford area all of her life.

She was the widow of Harry Gassner. Together with her late husband, they owned The French Cleaners, Inc. in West Hartford. She was a member of the American Medical Center Cancer Research Center In Denver, the Hebrew Home and Hospital Auxiliary, and Hadassah. She was a former member of Beth Hlllel Synagogue of Bloomfield.

She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael E. and Roslyn Gassner of West Hartford, and Dr. Peter D. and Elsa Gassner of Bloomfield; six grandchildren, Nancy Clayton and her husband Gary, Susan Cote and her husband Philip, Judy Gassner. Jeffrey Gassner and his wife Heiene, Deborah Gassner, and Jason Gassner; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, I p.m.. In the chapel of the Weln-steln Mortuary, 640 Farmlngton Hartford, with interment in Hartford City Lodge Cemetery, Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her son, Michael E. Gassner. 102 Haynes West Hartford, through Monday evening.

Hauck, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 1995) at Southlngton Care Center, Southlngton. She was born In New Britain, daughter of the late James H. Fitzsimmons and Mary (Murphy) Fitzsimmons. She lived in Marlborough from 1953 to 1965, when she moved to Florida.

She returned to Connecticut In 1991. She Is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arty. Lawrence J. Pagan and Mary Ann Fagan of Kensington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen F. Hollf elder and Richard J.

Hollfelder of Ne wing-ton, and Margaret F. Ficks and C. Richard Ficks of Kensington; a step-son, Robert L. Hauck and his wife, Janet of Missouri City, TX; 11 grandchildren, John A. Fagan and his wife, Melissa, Arty.

Andrew Leslie McKoy, 22, of 185 Edgewood Hartford, passed away Sunday (Nov. 19, 1995) In Hartford. He was born In Kingston, Jamaica, and had lived In Hartford the past seven years. He is survived by two sons, Andrew Leslie McKoy and Kha-marl Andrew McKoy, both of Hartford; his mother, Beverly (Dunkley) Gayle of Hartford; two brothers, Arnold Lee Mandela Gayle, and Akeem Nicholas Jordan Gayle. both of Hartford; three sisters, Krystal Andrea Nadia Gayle, Gabrlelle Gayle, and Ver-anique Gayle, all of Hartford; his babies' mothers, Belinda Burgess and Ann Marie Harris; and a hos of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, oher relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday (Nov. 27), 1 p.m., with calling hour at 12 noon, at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Chapel, 94 Granby Bloomfield. Burial will be In Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. MELLO.

Dena C. Mello, 89, of 421 Spring Manchester, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 1995) at her home. She was the widow of John Cabral Mello. Born In Barrlngton, Rl, she resided in Manchester for the past 38 years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anne-Louise and Edward J. Gra-cyalny, with whom she lived; her two sisters, Wilhemlna Camara and Anna Rutkiewitcz of Warren, Rl; three grandchildren, Anne E. Gracyalny of Guilford, Mary L. Gracyalny and her husband, Robert Leonovicz of Bolton, and John C. Gracyalny of Leucadia, CA: four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Camara, and her brother. Manual Camara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10 a.m., at St. James Church, Main Manchester. Burial Is at St.

Born In Korea, she was educated "at Ewha High Schcol In Korea Waseda University In Japan She left Korea In 1974, and spent the rest of her life with her two daughters' families In the Netherlands and the U.S. She was a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Greater Hartford, Manchester, and the First Presbyterian Church, Capitol Avenue, Hartford. Eunsoo is survived byher daughters, Bok Young Yoo and her husband, Mr. Klman Llrrrtf the Netherlands, and Dr. Moon-Hee Yoo and her husband, Dr.

Soo Hwan Pal of Farmlngton; and three grandchildren. Dr. Sung-Yun Pal, Sung-Joon Pai, and Se-mln Llm. Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 25, 1 p.m., at, the First Presbyterian Church, 130 Capitol Hartford, followed by interment In Riverside Cemetery, Farmlngton.

Pribyson, 50, if Middletown. formerly of Hartford, died Wednesday, (Nov 22, 1995) at Hartford Hospital. She was born In Hartford, daughter-of Frances (Wlezaiis) Pribyson of Glastonbury, formerly of Hartford, and the late Joseph S. Pribyson. Mary was currently on "a leave of absence from the John Dempsey Hospital where she was employed as a registered nurse.

She was previously employed at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center Maternity Clinic. She was a former religious with the Feliclan Sisters of Enfield. She was a graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing, Washington, D.C. She was a member of the cathedral of St.

Joseph Choir. Besides her mother, she leaves two brothers, RichardP. Pribyson and his wife Janice of Wethersfield, and David P. Pribyson of Glastonbury; two sisters, Joan F. Flan-nery and her husband Jack, of East Hartford, Eileen P.

TAYLOR. Eleanor (Springer) Taylor, 84, widow of Harold D. Taylor, formerly of Flax Hill Road, South Windsor, died Thursday (Nov. 23) at Hartford Hospital. Born In Mount Desert Island, ME, she had lived in East Hartford for over 40 years, retiring to Maine before-moving to South Windsor 2'? years, ago.

Before retiring in 1975, she, was an inspector for 30 years at. Pratt Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford. She is survived by two! sons, StanleyTaylor of Plainfieldi and Ralph Taylor of East Hart-, ford; three daughters, Delia Mitchell of South Windsor, Judith Ward of Riverside, CA, and Diane! VI V.VII IVTaXVlUr IVVT( 44i 1995) at St. Francis Hosoltal and Medical Center, Hartford, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 28, 1922 in St. Johns-bury, VT. son of the late Arthur and Pauline (LaPlante) Emmons, and had lived in Simsbury for the past 44 years.

He was a veteran of World War II. having served in the U.S. Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater as a decorated aviator, and was twice awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Emmons owned and operated Emmons Tropical Fish In Simsbury for 22 years, prior to his retirement In 1987, and had formerly worked at Hamilton Standard for many years.

He was a devoted member of St. Mary's Church, Simsbury, a past Faithful Navigator of the Fourth Degree Connecticut Council of the Knights of Columbus, and a past Grand Knight of the Bishop John J. Nilan Council 2758, and had contributed greatly with the Special Olympics of the World Games. He was a member of the VFW Me-tacomet Post 1926 and of the Simsbury Codgers, and he was a past member of the Simsbury Fish and Game Club, the Rotary Club, and Chamber of Commerce. Mr.

Emmons was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. Besides his very best friend and beloved wife of 50 years, he Is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Kathryn Emmons of Park City, UT, Brian and Barbara Emmons of Lorton, VA, Art and Terry Emmons of East Granby, and Steve and Pam Emmons of East Hartland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and James Sansone of North Granby, and Martha and Richard Cotterell of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter-in-law, Susan of Burlington; a brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Sheryl, and Heather Sansone, Elaine, Craig, Scott, Ryan, and Ashley Emmons; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Robert and Daniel, and a grandson, Michael. Arthur W. Forsell, 87, of West Hartford, husband of the late Mildred (Hoglund) Forsell, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 1995) at a local nursing home. Born in Hartford, living in New Britain, and moving to West Hartford many years ago, he was retired from the Hoffman Paint Co. He was a member of the First Lutheran Reformation Church, New Britain, and a graduate of Bulkley High School.

He was a member of Norden Lodge No. 1. Order of Vasa, Walnut Hill Lodge No. 139, Ancient Mystic Order of Bagmen of Bagdad, United Commercial Travelers, the AARP of West Hartford, West Hartford Regents, Sphinx Temple AAONMS, and the Shrin-ers. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a sister, Viola F. Borgeson of West Hartford, a niece, Ruth Lee of Acton, CA, a nephew, Charles Borgeson of West Hartford, and a grand-niece, Llnnea Lee. He was predeceased by a sister. Axle Summer-field. Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 a.m..

23, 1995), at the Hughes Convalescent Home. Born In New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary (Behan) Ganley, she resided In the Hartford area for many years. Prior to retiring, she was employed with Aetna Life Insurance Company. She was a communicant at the Church of St.

Thomas the Apostle, West Hartford, and longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Women's Club. She was predeceased by her sister. Harrier Ganley; and her brothers, Thomas Ganley, and Mark Ganley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, at 10 a.m., in the Church of St.

Born In Hartford, son of the late James B. Sr. and Lucy (Britt) George, he had lived in Windsor for the past 43 years. Before retiring In 1985, ne was employ ea ror years Dy the State or Connecticut Revenue Department. He olned the CT Army National Guard in 1939 In the 43rd Division, was federalized In 1941, and served in the U.S.

Army 191st Tank Battalion, Company as a 1st sergeant. He was a member and treasurer for 17 years of the Windsor Rod and Gun Club, and a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church, Windsor. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Joseph Ivey of Boynton Beach. FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Elise George of Riverside, IL; three grandchildren, Richard L.

Bennett III of Berlin, Emily A. George, and Jennifer George, both of Riverside, IL; and a nephew, Mark George of Enfield. He was predeceased by a brother, John D. George. Samuel Greenberg, of Tampa, FL, formerly of West Hartford, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 1995) at Memorial Hospital, Tampa, FL. Beloved husband of the late Lillian I.

Greenberg, who died Sept. 22, Mr. Greenberg was born Dec. 12, 1905 In Russia, son of the late Morris and Alta Greenberg, and came to this country as a young child. Mr.

Greenberg was the founder of the Brewers and Bottlers Equipment Co. of Tampa, and was The Chairman of the Board of Directors until his retirement. He and his beloved wife, Lillian, were well-known for their many philanthropic acts and gifts, both In the West Hartford and Tampa Jewish communities. They were named members of the elite Menorah Manor Founders Association In St. Petersburg for their generous gifts.

They were made lifetime honorary board members of the Congregation Rodeph Sho-lom In Tampa for being benefactors of their synagogue. In Hartford, they purchased the land for a new United Synagogues of Greater Hartford Cemetery, which they donated to the Synagogue. They also made an exceptional gift to the new Hebrew Home and Hospital towards building a new Protective Care Unit in the Hebrew Home. In 1986, they received the coveted "City of Peace Award" for their efforts In heading the State of Israel Bond Drive. Mr.

Greenberg leaves a son. Bernard Z. Greenberg and his wire Anita of Bellaire, FL; two sisters, Bluma Rustein of Springfield, MA, and Annette Golden and her husband Edward of West Hartford; a daughter-in-law, Elinor Greenberg of Richmond, TX; two grandchildren, Maida Goodman and her husband, Albert of Dallas, TX, and their children, Morton Adam Goodman Lewis, Mervin Montana Goodman, and Grant Ablln Goodman, and Mark L. Greenberg and his wife Jennifer of Houston, TX. and their son.

Mrs. Hebert was born Feb. 21, 1931 In Southridge, MA, a daughter of the late Armand and Phyllis (Mallet) Peloquin. She lived in Farmlngton for over 30 years, moving to North Carolina in 1991. She was em- Eloyed as the office manager of uperior Building Supplies, Farmlngton, for 30 years, retiring in 1991.

Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Diane) McKlssick of Hubert, NC. Dr. Mitchel and Donna Chere of Watertown; Mrs. William (De-bra) Perleonl of Farmlngton, and Mrs.

Born on Jan. 5, 1897 in New York City, she was the daughter of James Jeanie Orr of Hartford. She was married to Myron Harrison Clark, who died In 1985. Following her graduation from the New England Conservatory of Music In Boston, Mrs. Clark taught music In Fresno, CA, and at Miss Porter's School in Farming-ton where she was Director of Choral Music and vocal teacher.

She was also soloist, choir director and organist at the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Farmlngton. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Music Club of Hartford, serving as President from 1961 to 1963 and was an active participant through her eighties. She leaves a son, Mr. Harrison Clark Jr.

21, 1995), at his home. He was born In Barre, VT, August 20, 1922, the son of James and Janet (McKee) Crawford. He attended Barre, VT schools and graduated from Spauldlng High School in 1940. From January 1943 to November 1945, he served with the U.S. Army 116th Infantry Regiment of the 29th Infantry Division.

In 1950, he began employment with the U.S. Postal Service in Hartford, CT in the parcel post department, retiring In 1980. He had been affiliated with the Christian Science Church. Since 1980 he has made his home in Barre. VT.

His only survivors are distant cousins. Two brothers, Arthur Crawford, and William Elmer Crawford, are deceased. Margaret E. DePaolo, 87, of Hlghwood died Wednesday, (Nov. 22, 1995) at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Valentine J. De-Paolo.

Born Feb. 12. 1908, in Sourhlngton, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Muscato) DiNello. She was the founder and co-owner of Val DePaolo's Furniture Store. She and her husband Val were married for 64 years.

She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, and a member of the Parish Council, the Ladies Guild of St. Thomas, the Daughters of Isabella, St. Rita's Circle, Degree of Po-cahantas, Bradley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, The Y.M.C.A. seniors, the Calendar House, the Sourhlngton Women's Club, Merry Makers, and the Republican Women's Club.

She Is survived by-two sons, Joseph J. DePaolo, and Councilman William V. DePaolo, both of Southlngton: and two daughters-in-law, Dolores, and Gail DePaolo; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces; and nephews.
