Besides her husband, she leaves a son, James Skeff ington of Chester; three daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Michael McKenna of Chester, Debra Cade and Susan and James Veillette, all of Deep River; a stepson, Victor W. Greco of Chester; a stepdaughter, Marceau Boisjoly of Chester; a twin brother, Alcide T. Camire of Deep River; six sisters, Catherine Bugbee of Vermont, Lome Fiengo of East Hartford; Marie Laviero' of Southington, Liz Pappa of Texas, Carol Slivinsky of New York and Helen Niedzwiki of Florida; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday with a 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy in St.

8, 1998) in Bloomfield after a brief illness. Louis was born in Elizabeth, LA. October 18, 1938 to Laura Henry of Oakdale, LAand the late Louis Henry Sr. He was employed by Capewell Manufacturing Company for a number of years and later with the City of Hartford Department of Public works. Besides his mother he is survived by three brothers, Lee Edward Henry of Oakdale, LA, Lee Allen Henry of Hartford and Larry Henry of Bloomfield; two sisters, Emma Stone of Hartford and Shirley Ann Red of Oakdale, LA, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his father he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Earl Henry. Funeral Service is Friday 1 p.m. at Clark, Bell Bell Funeral Home, 319 Barbour Street, Hartford with calling hour 12 noon. Burial Spring Grove Cemetery, Hartford. HORANZY, Gertrude (Glancy) Gertrude (Glancy) Horanzy, 83, of Suffield, beloved wife of the late Vincent Horanzy, died Tuesday (Dec.

8, 1998) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was born March 7, 1915 in Chicopee, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Caroline Glancy. She attended school at the Holy Name in Chicopee. She was a communicant of St.

Joseph Church and a member of the St. Joseph Society in Suffield. She cherished her marriage of 53 years to Vincent and loved living in Suffield all her life. Gert is Survived by a daughter and her husband, Dianne and Peter Wood of Greenfield MA; a son and his wife, James and Christine Horanzf of West Suffield; five grandchildren, Brian, Jeffery and Katie Wood, Jaymeson and Erin Horanzy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Glancy and sister, Dorothy Ha-senjager.

Her family'and friends will always remember her for generosity, unfailing supportiveness and her avid love for bingo. The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m., at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain West Suffield, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St: Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield.

Mary (Hurley) Mary (Hurley) Kerr, 84, of Hartford, widow of Henry M. Kerr, died, Wednesday, (December 9, 1998). She was born in Hartford daughter of the late, Daniel and Catherine (Cunningham) Hurley and had lived in Hart- ford for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Kerr served as an Officer of John T.

Barry various corporations and served as Office Manager for over 30 years. She had previously worked for Shimkus Real Estate and London and Lancanshire Ins. Co. She was a long time communicant of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society of the Church.

She was active in the Parent Organization of the former Mt. St. Joseph Academy. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Henry M. Kerr Jr.

and Linda of Vernon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen K. and Dr. Anthony Stankewicz of Southington; Jo-Ann K. and James Kelliher of Darien; and Mary K. and George Collard of Yarmouthport, seven grandchildren, Matthew Kerr, Mark, Ann and Jim Stankewicz, Patrick Kelliher, Christopher and Jeffrey Collard; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, 9:15 am from "The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St.

KOSCAK, Paul P. Sr. Paul P. Koscak 85, of Suffield, John Wayne Castle, 43 of Victory, VT, died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998) in North Concord, VT, as the result of an accident.

He was born May 25, 1955 in Hartford, the son of the late Ernest H. and Helen L. (Lapine) Castle Sr. He was raised in and around East Gran-by, Canton Center and Bristol. He resided in Massachusetts for many years before moving to Vermont.

John is survived by his wife, Denise (Gamache) Castle of Victory, VT; a step-son, Patrick Danforth of East Falmouth, MA; four children, Jennifer H. Castle, Elisar D. Castle and Bruce B. Castle, all of Victory, VT and Scott W. Castle of Agawam, MA; five brothers, Joseph Castle of Brooklyn, CT, Ernest Castle Jr.

of East Granby, Howard Castle of Fairfax, VT, Richard Castle of Torrington and Wayne Castle of East Hartford; two sisters, Debra Demrest of Massachusetts, Elaine Patten of Maine; two step-sisters, Peggy Ann Leung of Putney, VT, Roxanne Castle of East Granby; two step-brothep, Frank Crosby of Hartland, ME, Donald Crosby Jr. of Ocala, FL; and by his best friend since youth, Scott Perry of Canton Center. A Memorial Service will be at the Lyndonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, South Wheelock Road, Lyndon, VT, Saturday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. There will be no calling hours.

DIPETRO, Edward Edward DiPietro, 81, of Old Say-brook, formerly of Hartford, beloved husband of Natalina "Mary" (Gig-liuto) DiPietro died Tuesday, (Dec. 8, 1998) at Middlesex Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Hartford, son of the late Francesco and Lucia (Tanasi) DiPietro and has lived in the area all of his life. He retired after 25 years of service from the Hartford Fire Department, and also retired after 13 years from the Superior Court, State of Connecticut, Judicial Dept. He also served with the National Guard and worked for the Friendly Market. Eddie was a member of the Fireman's Protective Association and a member of the Old Saybrook Seniors Shoreline Club 60. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Vini (Ferrari) Gor-dan and her husband Albert of South Glastonbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Mary DiPietro of Old Saybrook; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Salvatore and Philonena "Minnie" DiPietro of Rocky Hill; Joseph and Angelina DiPietro of Old Saybrook; a sister, Lena Corvo of Old Saybrook; six grandchildren, Peter and Philip Ferrari, Craig DiPietro, Ann Marie, Susan, and Thomas Gordan; and many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom he loved very much.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 11 at from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Buril a.m. in St. Luke's Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel TODAY from 5-8 p.m. EMERY. Valerie R. (Webber) Valerie Ruth (Webber) Emery, 80, of Bristol passed away Saturday (Dec. 5, 1998) at Hartford Hospital with her children and grandchildren at her side.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wellington Emery, who passed away in 1 984, and by one brother and one sister. She was born May 9, 1918 in Bar Harbor, a daughter of the late Edmund and Virginia (Bunker) Webber. She will always be remembered for her sense of style, her laugh and her zest for life. She enjoyed playing cards, collecting teddy bears and cooking treats for her family. She retired as a Head Cashier from Shop-Rite, where she had worked for many years, and she was a member of the Bristol Sr.

Citizens Center. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tsani Pinnone of Rocky Hill; Crystal and Burt Baver of Colchester; and Sharon and David Lee of East Hartford; seven grandchildren, Tsani Samese and her husband Richard; Vincent Pinnone and his wife Denise; Sharon Garthwaite and her husband Stephen; Anthony Pinnone and his wife Audrey; Stanley Moores; Anthony Tarascio; and Richard Taras-cio and his wife Christine; eleven great grandchildren, Michael Sar-nese; Lauren and Alexander Pinnone; Shannon, Stephanie and Stephen Garthwaite; Anthony and Patrick Pinnone; Leah and Katie Moores; and Bethany Tarascio; two brothers, two sisters, and several neices and nephews. MARI, Maria (Rumellamki) Maria (Rumellamki) Mari, 86, of Newington, widow of Vasilios Mari died suddenly Tuesday (Dec.

8, 1998) at her home. Born in Crete, Greece, daughter of the late Deme-tris and Maria (Pa- pathkis) Rumellamki, she lived their most of her life in Greece, prior to moving to Newington. She was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Hartford. She is survived by a son, Manolis Mari of Greece; her two beloved daughters, Stella D'Agostino and Niki Huff both of Newington; a sister, Popi Mazona-kis of Greece and six loving grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday (Dec. 1 1), 1 1 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Hartford. Interment will follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington.

Elizabeth S. Callahan, 93, formerly of Vance Drive, Bristol, widow of Carlton Callahan, died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998) at Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Callahan was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 27, 1905 and was a da Jghter of the late Michael and Caroline (Rabbe) Schriener.

She was raised in Terryville and has resided in Bristol most of her life. She was employed at Bristol Hospital before retiring and was a member of St. Joseph Church, Bristol. Mrs. Callahan is survived by three sons, Carlton Callahan of Bristol, Dennis Callahan of Palm Desert, CA and Michael Callahan of Southington; five daughters, Frances Bradley of Bristol, Elizabeth DiLoreto of West Hartford, Loretta Noon of Plainville, Maureen Viele of Glastonbury, and Elaine Callahan of Forestyille; a brother, Edward Schriener of Bristol; a sister, Helen Skilton of Terryville; 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard Callahan and a daughter, Joan Santostefano. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her family and she will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be Friday (Dec. 11), 8 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Bristol, to St.

Callahan Memorial Fund, do Michael E. Callahan, 155 Wild Oak Southington, 06489. FISHER, Helen (Holmes) Helen (Holmes) Fisher, 80, the wife of Walter Fisher died Monday (Dec. 7, 1998) in Marlborough. Bom in Ft.

Fairfield, ME. Helen had lived in Connecticut for many years before retiring with her husband to Sehago Lake, ME. Besides her husband Helen is survived by her brothers Max Holmes of Broad Brook, Graham Holmes of Florida and William Holmes of E. Windsor; her sisters Nancy LaPine of Wethersfield, Bertha Calabrese of W. Hartford and Maxine Manfreda of Columbia and several nieces and nephews including Trace Maulucci and Susan D'Amico.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption Manchester. There are no calling hours. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Marlborough Health Care Center Recreational Fund, 85 Stage Harbor Rd Marlborough, CT 06447.

The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has charge of arrangements. GOMES, Brian C. Brian C. Gomes, 26, of Orchard Terryville, fiance of Ann Merchant of Wolcott died Tuesday, (Dec.

8, 1998) at home. Born March 1, 1972 in New Britain, a son of Sarah (Hinton) Mon-ahan of Bristol and Raymond Gomes of Wallingford and stepson of Susan Gomes also of Wallingford, he had recently moved to Terryville. He was recently employed as a carpenter for National Cabinet Millwork, Water-bury. He was anember of St. Joseph Church.

He graduated from Goodwin Technical School, New Britain in 1990. He was an avid golfer. Brian was a devoted Son and a loving brother. Besides his parents and fiance, he leaves two brothers, Derek Monahan of Bristol and David Gomes of Wallingford; three sisters, Kelly Monahan-DiNoia and Kim Monahan both of Bristol and Katelyn Gomes of Wallingford; a paternal grandfather, Anthony Gomes of New Britain; an aunt and uncle, Thomas and Wendel-lyn (Hinton) Cosgrove of Bristol; a niece, Riley DiNoia of Bristol and several cousins. The funeral will be Friday (Dec.

1 1), 9:30 a.m. from DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Bristol to St. Joseph Church for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Plainville. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

HAYDEN, Lawrence "Larry" Michael Lawrence "Larry" Michael Hayden, 49, of Abbe Enfield, dear husband of Laura (Baione) Hayden, died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998) at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford. Born in Springfield, a beloved son of Frances (Emonds) Hayden of Enfield and the late James F. Hayden, who died this past April, Larry had lived most of his life in the Enfield community, where he was an active communicant of Holy Family Church and a volunteer in several youth activities.

Larry was a member of the Class of '67 at Enfield High School and a graduate of UCONN, Class of 1 972. He had been emplpyed with the State of Connecticut Dept. of Labor for the past 21 years and was presently a Program Support Manager. Larry served the youth of Holy Family parish as a CYO-CCD teacher for nine years and together, with his wife, served as counselors for engaged couples of the parish for 10 years. He was instrumental in the formation and guidance of the Unemployment Support Group at the Church, and was also a member of the Holy Family Men's Club and an avid golfer.

He volunteered his time for nine years as a coach and league coordinator for the Enfield Soccer Club and as a coach for the Enfield Park Rec Youth Basketball League. During the mid eighties he also volunteered at the former Continental Cablevision, in conjunction witrnhe Enfield Public Library, in the production of the "Story Time Plus" series. In addition to his wife and mother, Larry is survived by his two loving children, Emily and Conor, both at home; three devoted brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Ber-nice Hayden of Agoura Hills, Jeffrey and Linda Hayden of Enfield, and James and Joanne Hayden of East Longmeadow, MA; his caring sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Alan Noske of Coventry; his mother-in-law, Delia Baione of Enfield, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

in Holy Family Church, Simon Rd. Burial will be in the Enfield Street Cemetery. KING, Alfred W. Alfred W. King, of Valley Lane, Prospect, husband of Doris (Schindler Cahill) King, entered into rest eternal Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998). Masonic Services Friday (Dec.

Henry L. Lussier, 78, of East Hartford, husband of Estelle (Raymond) Lussier, died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center from injuries suffered in a fall. Born on July 5, 1920 in Chicopee, MA, son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Tremblay) Lussier, he was a resident of East Hartford for 41 years.

Mr. Lussier served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of Catholic University in Washington, DC and earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Connecticut. He was a design engineer at Pratt Whitney Aircraft for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of St. Christopher Church in East Hartford and an active member of its Men's Club and Church Choir. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Dr. Frances Lussier of Silver Spring, MD; two sons, Henry L. Lussier, Jr.

of Cambridge, MA; and Dr. Robert Lussier of Middle-field; three sisters, Cecil Houle of Oc-cum; Lillian Lussier and Theresa Mer-cier of Taftville; three brothers, Joseph of Jewett City; Albert of Lisbon, and Richard of Canterbury; many nieces and nephews. He was predeased by a sister Blanche Brochu. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (Dec. 1 1 1 1 a.m.

in St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Taftville with a 2:30 p.m. graveside service. Calling hours are today, 6-9 p.m.

DEATH NOTICES ANDERSON, Mary Alice (Sutton) Mary Alice (Sutton) Anderson, 46, of Hominy, OK, formerly of Hartford, passed away Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998) after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Hartford, she leaves to mourn: her mother, Mrs. Ella Mae Sutton; her paternal grandmother, Ms. Carrie Colbert; a son, Shawn Sutton; two daughters, Nicolerae Sutton, and Toshiba Anderson, all from Hominy, OK. She also leaves two brothers, Arthur Sutton and Robert Sutton; three sisters, Leola Biggs, Sharon Sutton and Charlotte Sutton, all from Hartford; a very special friend, Gregory Smith of Hartford; many nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Selrenna Sutton. She was predeceased by her father, Arthur Sutton and brother, Phillip "Nippy" Sutton.

Joseph S. Augeri, 82, of Middle-town died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 1998). He was the son of Sebastian and Vin-cenza (DiMauro) Augeri. He was a member of company Meds.

He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Augeri was also a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Union, Local No. 1 Connecticut. Edwin H. Brown, 87, died Sunday (Dec. 6, 1998) in Falmouth Hospital, Falmouth, MA. Born Sept. 3, 1911 in Glastonbury, he grew up there and later moved to Manchester and Sims-bury.

Upon retirement, after 44 years of employment at Aetna Life Casualty Co. in Hartford, he moved to Sandwich, MA. Mr. Brown was a past President of the Aetna Men's Club. While living in Manchester, he was an active member of South United Methodist Church.

Upon moving to Sandwich, he became an active member of the First Church of Christ. Also active in the Town senior programs, he helped organize the Dial-A Ride transportation program now known as the Bus. Mr. Brown was a past member and Chairman of the Town's Board of Finance, as well as a Corporation Member of Cape Cod United Church Homes and Shawme Heights, Inc; Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Virginia Bengtson Brown; daughter, Susan B. Hart of Sandwich and grandson, Christopher Hart of Sfluth Windsor.

He was predeceased by his brother, Clayton Brown of En-glewood, FL. William F. Clossey, 74, died Thursday (Dec. 3, 1998) at Hartford Hospital in Hartford. He was born July 2, 1924, in Montpelier, son of William H. and Celia (Corbett) Clossey.

Mr. Clossey attended schools in Montpelier, and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1949. He was a member of the Boulder Society of the University of Vermont. He was a Poet.

Mr. Clossey was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. He served under General George Patton in Europe through five campaigns. He was a Supervisor at the Institute of Living in Hartford for 36 years and retired in 1 985.

Survivors include a sister, Eleanor Daly of Rutland, a brother, Leonard C. Clossey of Richland, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral services were held on Saturday at Christ the King Church in Rutland, VT. Contributions may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund, Convent Avenue, Rutland, VT.

05701. CUSCOVITCH, John F. John F. Cuscovitch 74, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully Wednesday (Dec. 9, 1998) at Riverside Convales cent Home.

He leaves his beloved and devoted wife of 51 years, Phyllis (Marino) Cuscovitch. Besides his wife, he leaves his three children and their spouses, Jan and Dave Upchurch of Ellington, Debby and Dennis De-scrocher of East Hartford and John and Annette Cuscovitch of South Windsor; his 10 grandchildren and a great grandson; several nephews and nieces. He was born in Broad Brook April 22, 1924. He resided in East Hartford for 51 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S.

Army. He owned and operated the Carpet Workshop, of Hartford. He was a former President of the Goodwin Park Golf Association as well as a member of the Elks Lodge of East Hartford, the Moose Club, the VFW Post No. 254 and the Connecticut Floor Cdvering Association. He will be sadly missed and forever lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, (Dec. 12), 10:15 a.m. from the Callahan funeral Home, 1602 Main East Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, East Hartford.

Born in Schenectady, NY, he grew up in New Hartford, moving to Suffield in 1 951 Before World War II, Paul worked as a metal polisher for Colt Firearms in Hartford; after his service he worked as a skilled jac-quard weaver for the former Bige-low-Sanford Carpet Co.

in Thompson-ville. He retired in 1978 from Kaman Aircraft Corp. in Bloomfield as a clerk in shipping and receiving. During' World War II, Paul served with the U.S. Army Company 1258th Engineer Combat Battalion in England, France and Germany with Gen.

George S. Patton's Third Army. Paul fought in the Battle of the Bulge; he earned three battle stars along with numerous other decorations during his tour, rising to the rank of Tech4 Sergeant. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Landry Sic VFW Post in Suffield, and was an avid accordionist, pen-forming in cafes and at concerts. Paul was a former member of the Suffield Democratic Town Committee and was the Suffield Police Commissioner, where he took an interest in enhancing traffic safety on Rt.

159. Along with his wife, Many he leaves two sons, Paul P. Koscak of Wood-bridge, VA and Mike P. Koscak of Westfield, MA; a brother, Joseph Koscak of Pleasant Valley. Relatives and friends may gather Saturday, 9 a.m., at the Nicholson Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East Suffield, and 10 a.m., for a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Suffield.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Enfield. His family will receive friends Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Paul was a loving father whose heart was always in the right place. We'll miss you Dad! We will never forget!.
