Louise A. Lueten, 900f Ellington, died Friday (Dec. -21, 1996) at a local nursing home. Born In Ellington, the daughters the late John Mary (SchanZ) Luetien, she had lived here ail her life. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Miss Luetien leaves her sister-in-law, Mildred Luetien of Ellington and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday. Dee. 24 at 10 a.m. In Trinity Lutheran Church, Meadowlark Road, Vernon.

died Saturday Sk (Dec. 21. 1996) at Hartford HosDital after a lona ill ness. He was the beloved husband of Marian (Zlgmont) Greene for 45 years. He was born in Peabody, MA, and resided In Connecticut for the past 50 years.

Mr. Greene was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a graduate of Boston University. He was formerly employed by Pratt and Whitney for many years, and more recently owned and operated several Midas Muffler Shops in the area. Mr.

Greene was a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Club, the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 3884, and VFW Post No. 9836.

A loving father and grandfather, he also leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Steve Malinowski of Newington; a son and daughter-in-law, John C. and Kathleen Greene; a son and a daughter, Patrick and Heather Greene, all of Walling-ford: five grandchildren, Pamela and Wesley Knowles, Erin, Ashley and Joshua Greene. Funeral services will be Monday (Dec. 23), 9:15 a.m.. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington.

Dorothy M. (Schleldege) Irwin, 91, of Manchester died peacefully with her family at her side, on Saturday (Dec. 21, 1996) at Manchester Manor. She was the widow of Thomas D. Irwin.

Born In Manchester she had lived most of her life in Manchester, except for the wonderful time she spent as a youth in Chester. Prior to her retirement she had worked at Pratt Whitney and later at Arrow, Hart Hegeman. Mrs. Irwin is survived by her children and their spouses David and Pat Irwin of Manchester, Carol Dlette of Windham, VT, Bernlce and Bruce Hartwick of Manchester and Dorothy and Hllllard McCarter of Ft. Washington, MD; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great great grandson.

She also predeceased by three brothers Raymond, Philip and Charles Schleldge and her granddaughter Sara. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, Dec 24, at 11 a.m. at the John F. Tlerney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial In East Cemetery.

Grace (Hamilton) Kellogg, 83 of Simsbury, widow of Wil-lard Kellogg, loving mother, devoted grandmother, loyal friend, and a wonderful person in her own right, died Friday (Dec.

20, 1996) atHartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, she graduated from Smith College and lived in Granby for many years before moving to Simsbury in 1984. She owned and operated the Over the Wail Nursery In North Granby for over 35 years; was a past member of the Granby Board of Education; a member of the Granby Civic Club; the Smith College Club; the College Club of Hartford; a former board member of the YWCA of Hartford and she was the first recipient of the Granby Citizen of the Year award. Mrs. Kellogg was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Granby.

She was also an avid golfer and was one time Women's State Amateur Champion. She leaves a son Theodore and his wife Martha Kellogg of Wakefield, Rl: three daughters Karen W. Kellogg of Sharon. Alice and her husband Terry Hallaran of Middlebury, Louise and her husband Alfred Mann of Farmington; brother Frederick W. Hamilton of Bloomfleld and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Monday, Dec. 23, 11 a.m at the First Congregational Church In Granby, 219 N. Granby Granby. Burial will be private in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. There are no calling hours.

Burton H. Lohnes, 83, of Llnwood New Britain died Saturday (Dec. 21. 1996) at Walnut Hill Convalescent Home. A lifelong New Britain resident and son of the late Algy and Alma (Olson) Lohnes, he graduated from New Britain High School In 1933.

Mr. Lohnes was employed at Stanley Works for over 40 years, retiring In 1975. He was a member of the 33 Club; the New Britain Elks Lodge; and the New Britain chapter of AARP, where he has served as tour director for nine years. Surviving Is his wife, 'Dixie' (Donovan) Lohnes; son. Burton 'Bud' Lohnes, and his wife, Sharon of Lutherville, MD: daughter, Harriet C.

Lohnes of Woburn, MA; brother. Forrest Lohnes and his wife Lillian of Westbrook; sister-in-law, Harriet Carroll of New Britain; two grandchildren, Julie and Timothy Lohnes; and a niece. Funeral services are Monday, Dec. 23, 11 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Brtain.

MONTEFORTE. Gloria (Pandolfo) Monteforte, 66, beloved wife of Giuseppe Monteforte of Hartford, died Friday (Dec. 20. 1996). Born in Winsted, she lived In Hartford for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church. She was employed by The Travelers insurance Company until her retirement. Besides her husband, she leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Gaetano and Catherine Monteforte; two grandchildren, Sean and Karen Monteforte, all of South Windsor: a brother, Alfred Pandolfo In Florida; two sisters, Josephine Llzzote of Barkhamst-ed, and Dolores Tomolonis of South Windsor; and numerous relatives in Italy. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Pandolfo.

Funeral services will be Monday, 9:30 a.m., from the Giu-liano-Sagarino Funeral Home, 247 Washington Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial In St. Augustine Church, 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. of Front Street. Collinsvllle, husband of Priscilla (Tneriault) Bouchard, died Saturday (Dec. 21, 1996) at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. He was born May 25. 1924 in St.

Agatha. ME, son of the late Celeste ana Lucie (Bourgoin) Bouchard, and had lived In Collinsvllle for more than 34 years. He was a veteran of World War II. having served In the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Mr. Bouchard was employed as a Tool and Die Maker at J.J. Ryan Tool Co. in Southlngton for 16 years, prior to his retirement in 1982. He had also worked at the Collins Co.

for many years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Collinsvllle, a member of the Albert Johnson American Legion Post 90, Canton VFW Lunta-Perry Post 9372, a volunteer for the Canton Historical Society, an original member of the Canton Memorial Ambulance Service, and former Deputy Chief of the Collinsvllle Fire Department. Besides his wife, he Is survived by four sons, Carl Bouchard of Southbury, Philip Bouchard of Collinsvllle, Bruce Char-ette of Canton, and Glenn Charette of Farmington; four daughters, Janice Macintosh of Windsor, Donna Bouchard of Simsbury, Debbie Bouchard of Avon, and Sandra Berube of Southlngton; three brothers. Mrs. Byron had made her home in West Hartford for over 40 years, and worked for the former Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. In Hartford. She Is survived by her two sons, Philip Poirler of Lebanon, Frederick Polrier In Massachusetts: her sister, Ruth A. Byron of Farmington; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday (Dec. 23), beginning with visitation at 9 a.m. In the Molloy Funeral Home. 906 Farmington West Hartford, and followed by the celebration of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. In St.

Olga Anna (Drachen-berg) Dietrich of East Berlin, away on Saturday (Dec. 21, 996) after a heart attack. Born In New Britain, on June 3, 1922, she married Oskar Dietrich who died on December 22, 1954. She Is survived by four children, Ruth, Oscar, and Anne Dietrich who live in the family home in East Berlin, and Martha Bowman who lives in Hartford with her husband William Bowman; her brother John Drachenberg from New Britain, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a wake at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main New Britain, on Dec.

Mary B. Hoppe, of Douglas Drive, Meriden, died suddenly Friday (Dec. 20) at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carl Hoppe. Funeral service will be Monday, 10 a.m., at Saint John's Lutheran Church.

1996) at his home. Born in Revere, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Christine (Corona) Monacchlo, and had lived in Wettw ersf ield for 39 years. Nicholas was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, was retired from the Royal Typewriter and was formerly employed by the Regional Market. He was a member of the Wethersfield Senior Citizens Club, and a communicant of Corpus Christ! Church.

He is survived by his laying daughter, Lorraine C. Monacchlo; a sister, Yolanda LeRoy and her husband, Michael, all of Wethersfield; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Albina Festa of Hartford; several nieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, and very many dear friends. She was born In Hartford, daughter of the late Salvatore and Glusepplna (Randazzo) Slpala, she lived an Hartford all her life. She wax a retired employee of Arrow Hart Hegman. STEVENSON. Herbert J. Stevenson, 6, ot Manchester, husband of Helen "Lynn, (Harrington) Stevenson, and son of the late Albert J. and Rose (Magee) Stevenson, died Saturday (Dec. 21, 1996) after a valiant fight with cancer at home, with his family at his slde Born Nov.

20, 1927 in Manchester, he was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1945. and later was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, Class of 1951. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Church. Mr.

Stevenson was a Captain In the U.S. Army, serv Ing In Korea and Vietnam, and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a former partner in the Sawyer Stevenson Insurance Agency, formerly of Manchester, own1 er and operator of Village Charrn Antiques in Manchester was Democratic Deputy Registrar of Voters from 1960-190, and became Democratic Registrar of Voters 1 1971 until present. He was a member of the Democratic Town Com1 mittee from 1954 until present1, and was District Chairman for 25 of those years. Mr.

Stevenson was the first President of the Cheney Hall Foundation, appointed In 1983, was a former member of the Zoning Board of Appeals In Man Chester, was Assistant Director ot the Manchester Road Race, and a former member of numerous fra" ternal organizations. Besides his wife Lynn, he is survived by three sons and two daughters In-law' Herb J. and Holly Stevenson of Glastonbury, David A. Judith (Ackerman) Fox, 67, of West Hartford, passed away Saturday (Dec. 21, 1996) at the Hebrew Home and Hospital after a brief Illness following a heart attack. She was born in Yonkers, N.Y., daughter of Sylvia and Hugo Ackerman, and lived In West Hartford for many years. As an individual dedicated to serving humanity, she was the Executive Director for Aids Proect Hartford, from 1993 to 1995, where she supervised staff and volunteers working for a cause in which she deeply believed. She was to begin a new ob as an assistant with the Connecticut Forum.

After raising three children and graduating from University of Massachusetts, Amherst In 1977, her career continued with many prestigious lobs. She was Assistant Regional Director for the American Jewish Committee In Philadelphia; Associate State Director for the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania from 1982 to 1990; Director of Personnel and Career Development for the Dunfey Hotel Corporation In Chicago, from 1977 to 1982, and was an assistant to Joseph Duffey In his campaign for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 1970. She worked as an assistant to the Director of entertainment at Radio City Music Hall in New York between 1947 and 1950 and as an assistant to the Director of Communications at Michigan State University from 1950 to 1952. Her friends cherished her thoughtful opinions and adventurous spirit, which fueled her travel to countries on every continent, including China, Australia, and Israel.

She dressed with style and loved to wear pins and ewelry from the places she visited. Before her Illness, she spent four days at Disney World on a joyful family vacation. An avid reader, she could talk Intelligently about a wide range of subjects she held a gasslon for, including politics, usiness, music, professional sports, and interior design. She was the matriarch of a large family and took great oy in entertaining her family on special occasions, especially Thanksgiving for which she would cook a gourmet meal complete with luscious homemade desserts. She was proud of ail her children's accomplishments as they were of hers.

She volunteered at the Hebrew Home and Hospital and as a literacy aid. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Fox, of Minneapolis, Shana Fox, of Tuscon, and her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Tracy Fox of Colchester. She delighted In her three beloved grandchildren. Sarah and Rebecca Fox. of Colonester and Lou B.

Fox, of Tuscon, AZ. she also leaves sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Irwin Posner of Yonkers, NY and Beryl and Max Gurd of Pembroke Pines, former husband Jack J. Fox of West Hartford, and many other beloved relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Beth Olam Levayah Funerals of Greater Hartford, 776 Farmington West Hartford on Sunday Dec. 22, at 12:30 p.m.

Interment will follow at the Beth David Cemetery in Wethersfield. CAREY. John E. Carey. 80 of Upper County Road and formerly of Leicester died Thursday (Dec. 19, 1996) in Cape Cad Hospital after an illness.

His wife of 55 years Catherine M. (Morowski) Carey died In October. He leaves two sons John J. Carey of Vernon, and Paul J. Carey of Framingham; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carey was born In Worcester the son of John J. and Elizabeth (Murray Carey. He graduated from St. Peter's High School In 1935 and attended Becker Jr.

College. Mr. Carey worked for many years as an Insurance Agent for Pheonix Mutual Insurance Co. In Worcester, then as a Bookkeeper In the Treasurers office in the town of Yarmouth before retiring. He served In the Navy during World War II.

He was a former Chairman of the zoning board of appeals In Leicester. A Former Member of the Leicester Lions Club and St. Plus Church. Mr. Carey moved to the Cape 24 years ago.

He continued his studies for the priesthood Jat La Salette Seminary, Altamont, IjNY.He was ordained a priest June 19, 1943 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Albany, NY, by The Most Rev. Edmund F. Bishop of Albany. After ordl- nation, he served in The La Salette Preaching Ministry in Mllford. 'Iowa, and Bloomfleld.

He served assistant pastor at St. Francis Church, Phoenicia, NY, from 1944-VI947, and Our Lady of Sorrows 5Church, Hartford, from 1954-1956. He was appointed Master of Novices and Superior, Bloomfleld In J1960. In 1966 he was appointed Superior at the La Salette Communl-ty, Hartford.
