Dr. Visner was a 1967 graduate of Conard High School in West Hartford, where he earned the Franklin and Marshall College Book Prize and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Medal Henry Mylnarski, Henry D. "Minnie" Mylnarski, a well-known athlete in the New Britain area in the 1930s and 1940s, died Thursday at John Dempsey Hospital. He was 73 and lived in Farming-ton. Mr.

Mylnarski was a star baseball and football player at New Britain High School. He also played baseball at Georgetown University, where he graduated in 1952, and later with the Detroit Tigers organization. Mr. Mylnarski was born in New Britain and lived in Farmington the past 37 years. He retired in 1987 from Pratt Whitney in Middle-town.

He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran. Mr. Mylnarski was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Farmington. He also had memberships with the 44 Club, Oaks Club, the PIRES.

Antonio B.L. Pires, 67, of Hartford, husband of Gertrudes (Mala) Pires, died Wednesday (Feb. 12) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Celorico da Beira, Portugal, he came to the United States in 1968, and lived in Hartford since then. He was employed for 19 years at the Hanson Whitney Hartford, and had also worked part-time at Trinity College, Hartford, for ten years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Theodore L. Pires of Hartford, and Eduardo A. Pires of Dover, a daughter, Teresa M. Pires of Hartford; and a brother, Sebas-tiao Pires. Funeral procession will be Saturday, 10:15 a.m., from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Square, Hartford.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are today, 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. PITTS. Benjamin F. Pitts 57, husband of Vivian (Purry) Pitts, of Hartford, departed this life Monday (Feb.

10) in Mount Sinai Hospital. He was born In Pickens, S.C., to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Pecolar Pitts, and was a resident of Hartford for 42 years. He was employed by Reliable Refuse, South Windsor.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Benjamin F. Pitts William A. Pitts, Marty Pitts, and Craig A. Pitts; a daughter. Crystal (Pitts) Shelton, all of Hartford; his brother, William R.

Pitts Jr. of Greenville, S.C.; his sister, Mary M. Pitts of Pickens, S.C.; two daughters-in-law; a son-in-law; 16 grandchildren; a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral service is Saturday, 1 p.m., at Clark, Bell Bell Funeral Home, 31? Barbour Hartford, with calling hour, 12 noon. Burial: Northwood Cemetery, Wilson.

SAFLICKI. Louise S. Saflicki, 96, of 41 Evergreen Middletown, died at her residence Wednesday (Feb. 12). She was born in Krakow, Poland, daughter of the late, Anthony and Jennie Sajdak.

She is survived by a son, Henry Saflicki of Middletown; three daughters, Helen Burzinski of Madison, Steffie Vinci and Bernice Antolini, both of Middletown; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by four sons, Joseph, Stanley, Steven and-Edward; and a daughter, Ceclia. Funeral will be Saturday, 8 a.m., from the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Middletown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, 9 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown.

Friends may call at the funeral home this evening, 7-9 p.m. Kathleen Whitten; for excellence in science and mathematics. Also during high school, he presented papers at the Yale Junior Science and Humanities Symposium and attended the National Science and Humanities Symposium at West Point in New York. He leaves his wife, Marcia Mary Visner of Chevy Chase; his father, Dr. Sidney Visner of Atlanta; and his brother, Samuel Sanders Visner of Washington, D.C.

DEATH NOTICES MLYNARSKI. Henry D. "Minnie" Mlynarskl, 73, of Holmes Circle, Farmlngton, died Thursday (Feb. 13) at the John Dempsey Hospital. He was born in New Britain, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kulas) Mlynarski, and was a resident of Farmington for the past 37 years.

He was a World War II Air Force veteran where he served as first lieutenant in the Army Air Corp First Combat Cargo Group serv ing in me cmna, Burma ana inaia Theater. Among numerous awards he was a recipient of the Air Medal and the distiguished Flying Cross. He was formerly employed by United Technologies, Div. of Pratt Whitney, Middle-town, for many years retiring in 1987. He was formerly employed by Landers, Frary Clark where he also served as recreational director.

A graduate of New Britain High School where he was a star athelete in the mid 1930s. "Minnie" helped lead the New Britain High School Football Team to a 32 to 13 victory over Miami Florida High School in a game played in the Orange Bowf on Christmas Day in 1936. He was also a star baseball player, and at one time was named by the New Britain Herald as New Britain High School's greatest baseball player to date in December of 1952. He was a graduate of Georgetown University in 1942 where he played baseball and was signed to a professional contract by the Detroit Tigers. He was a member of the St.

Patrick's Church and the St. Patrick's Men's Club. He was a member of the 44 Club, Oaks Club and the Chippanee Country Club. He was a member of the Hump Pilots Association. He was also a graduate of the Hartford Institute of Accounting.

He is survived by his wife, Stacie (Czajka) Mlynarski; a son and daughter-in-law, Henry D. and Jennifer J. Mlynarski, Jr. of Farmington; a grandson, Christopher Mlynarski; a brother, Dr. Joseph Mlynarski of New Britain; two sisters, Pauline Radzevich of Avon, and Dolores Seleman of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.

PENSIERO. Mario "Tony Penn" Penslero, 64, of East Granby, husband of the late Ruth (Chaplin) Penslero, died Feb. 11, 1992, Francis Hospital. He was born in Hartford, was formerly of Hartford, and lived in East Granby for 23 years. He was retired from B.

Golden Sons, Hartford, after working there for 25 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and served with the U.S.O. for nine years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 96, East Granby, and the American Federation of Musicians Local 440, New Britain.

He leaves two sons, David Penslero of East Granby, and Ronald Pen-siero of Tariffvllle; a brother, Gui-do Penslero of East Hartford; a sister, Anita Penslero of Glastonbury; a granddaughter, Morgan Ruth Penslero; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, 10 a.m., at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Rocky Hill. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. 24, 1895, In Marsala, Sicily, Italy, had come to the United States In 1928, and lived in Waterbury for many years prior to moving to Avon 33 years ago. She Is survived by two daughters, Angelina F. Rallo, and Vita R. Os-trowski, both of Avon; a son, Vito F. Rallo of Marstons Mills, three grandsons, Paul, Peter, and Mark Ostrowskl; three granddaughters, Lorraine Romasco, Carolyn, and Jennifer Rallo; and three great-grandsons, David, Brian, and Evan Ostrowskl.

REYES. Eric J. Reyes, 14, of East Hartford, died Wednesday (Feb. 12). Born In Caguas, Puerto Rico, he lived In the Hartford area for the past four years and attended local schools.

He is survived by his parents, Ricardo of Caguas, P.R., and Maria Salim of East Hartford; a brother, Ricardo Jr. of East Hartford; two sisters, Maria and Janicette, both of East Hartford. Funeral service will be Saturday, 8:30 a.m., at the Iglesla De Dios Bentecost, 27 Lawrence Hartford. Burial: Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfleld.

12) at home. Mrs. Dziedzic was born July 13, 1929, in Barnesboro, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Job) Matava. She resided in Bristol moving to Terryville 29 years ago, and was employed at Bussman Industries, Bristol, for 27 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St.

Stanislaus Church, Bristol. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Wayne and David Dziedzic, both of Terryville; five brothers, Richard Matava of Zaltaraiso, Thomas Matava of Hurst, Texas, Andrew Matava of Orchard Park, N.Y., Joseph Matava of Hamburg, N.Y., and Michael Matava of Parma, Ohio; four sisters, Jean Au-man of Kersey, Agnes Good of Nicktown, Catherine Fyffe of St. Marys, and Kay Planeta of Somers, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Jason, Karrie, Joseph, Valerie, and Brandon, Dziedzic, all of Terryville; several nieces and nephews. Born In Poquonock, he lived in Wethersfield for the past 45 years. He had been employed by Pratt Whitney Division of United Technologies retiring in 1975, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He leaves his beloved wife, Stella (Donnelly) Jackson; a sister, Veronica Ferrari of Irvine, two nieces, Leila Ferrari of California, and Sandra LeBlanc of Australia; and three nephews, Robert Gvara of Maine, Richard Ferrari of Windsor Locks, and Thomas Ferrari of New Hampshire. Ann Leete, of Sharon, died Jan. 26, 1992. She had lived in the Hartford area, and had been employed by G. Fox Co. and the City of Hartford.

13, 1992) at her parents home. She was born in Williman-tic, educated In the Thompson Schools, and came to Union 15 years ago. She was a Maintainer 3, and Union Shop Steward, at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. She was a member of the Connecticut Employees Independent Union, and a member of the Congregational Church of Union. She is survived by her husband, James C.

Mayo of Union; two sons, Roger H. Mayo of Chaplin, and James C. Mayo Jr. of Union; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas J. and Ellen (Ellison) Crossen Sr. of Union; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruby J. Dittrich of Danielson; two brothers, Thomas J.

Lucy M. (McBride) Burns, 87, of Farmington, widow of Mr. Joseph R. Burns, died Thursday (Feb. 13, 1992).

Born In Amenia, N.Y., Nov. 1, 1904, daughter of the late Matthew and Catherine (Murphy) McBride, she was a graduate of the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, class of '1931. She served at the McCook Hospital, Hartford, and the Bolles-wood Convalescent Home, Avon, for a number of years. In 1955 she became the school nurse at Farmlngton High School until 1967, when she retired.

She was a communicant of the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionvllle. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Mayo of New York City, N.Y.; a sister, Ann McBride of Amenia, N.Y.; and a grandson, Scott T. Mayo of New York City. He was a native of Oklaho- ma City, he was a resident of San Francisco, for eight years. He served as a U.S. Army Captain in World War II, retiring as Major. He is survived by a son. Miller "Bud" Cameron of Weth-ersf ield; a daughter, Francys Case of Abilene, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

DaDALT. Remo A. DaDalt, 72, of 4 oaiotto Stafford Springs, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1992) at Johnson Memorial HosDital. He was born in Stafford Springs, educated In the local schools, and was a U.S.

Army veteran of World War II. He was the retired founder and owner of the Tolland County Insurance Agency, after 31 years of service, he was a communicant of St. Edward Parish, honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society, and Strazza Tonoli Em-hoff Post No. 26 American Legion. He was a member of the Stafford Fish and Game Club, V.F.W.

Post No. 9990, and Professional Insurance Agents Group. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Butler) DaDalt of Stafford Springs; three sons, P. DaDalt of Willington, Peter J. DaDalt of Atlanta, and Anthony J.

DaDalt of Stafford Springs; a daughter, Sally Ann DaDalt of Hartford; a grandchild, Jennifer Lee DaDalt; two brothers, Nelson F. DaDalt of Stafford Springs, and Walter DaDalt of Clermont, a sister, Ella Yost of Stafford Springs; several nieces and nephews. KASHMANN. Howard J. Kashmann, 91, of West Hartford, died Feb. 12 at a local convalescent home. Born In Hartford, he lived in the area for most of his life.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Muriel Knlck-man of Edgewater, a sister, Mrs. Bernice K. Sherman of West Hartford; a brother, Stanley C. Kashmann of Newlngton; two nieces; two grandnleces; and a grandnephew.

Private service: at the convenience of the family. Kathleen VanSoest Whitten, a former teacher in the Manchester schools, died Wednesday at Hartford Hospital. She was 46 and lived in South Windsor. Mrs. Whitten taught at Martin and Highland Park elementary schools for 11 years.

She retired in 1983. She was a graduate of East Hartford High School and Eastern Connecticut State Teachers College in Willimantic. She received a master's degree from Central Connecticut State University. Born in Clifton, N. Mrs.

Dr. Marc Sanders Visner, 42, of Chevy Chase, died Saturday, (Feb. 8) of chronic renal failure at the Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. A graduate of Conard High School, West Hartford, Dr. Visner graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude, and the Harvard University School of Medicine.

He completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn. Dr. Visner served as a heart surgeon at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and the Georgetown University Hospital, at which he was the Director of Cardiovascular Surgical Research. He is survived by his wife, 1 Marcia Mary Visner of Chevy Chase, his father. Dr.

Rosaline (Bloise) Tulisano, 69, of Rocky Hill, widow of Dominick P. Tulisano, died Thursday (Feb. 13, 1992) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford she lived in Rocky Hill most of her life. She was formerly employed by Grosso's Market in Rocky Hill and more recently worked at My Brother's Place In Cromwell.

She was a member of Father Gannon Council Columbiettes and the Emblem Club of the Wethersfield-Rocky Hill Elks No. 2308. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, State Rep. Richard D. and Beverly Tulisano of Rocky Hill, Donald S.
